Vermont Maple Chicken

1 chicken cut up or combination of chicken thighs other parts…
Combine (and pour over chicken)
1/4 cup butter melted
1/2 cup maple syrup (Darker the better)
Lemon rind
1/4 cup sliced toasted almonds
Two tbs ++ lemon juice

Preheat 400 degrees
Bake covered uncovered at the end- to thicken sauce.
For aBout an hour
Serve with Rice and peas
