Black MIDNIGHT Cake Jar Mix

• 2 and 1/4 cake and or all purpose flour
• 1 cup sugar (calls for 1 and 2/3)
• 2/3 cup cocoa
• 1 and 1/4 tsp baking soda
• 1/4 tsp baking powder

sift in bowl -add to QT jar with instructions to finish

Pre heat oven 350 degrees line muffin pans for 18-20 cup cakes

To mix add:

• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3/4 cup shortening
• 1 1/4 cup water

Using an ice cream scoop, scoop mix into prelined cupcake pans and bake for 2–30 minutes, check by inserting a knife into one cupcake to see if it comes out clean. Some ovens might require a cookie sheet under the pan to prevent browning too fast.
