Lemon Bread

( I use are my biscotti pan and the little bread pan to make a double recipe so we have one to share.)

Mix together the sugar and the butter

1 cup sugar plus 1/4

12 Tablespoons butter and margarine

4 eggs

3 cups flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 cup milk.

Bake in preheated over 325/350 for about an hour

squeeze juice of one lemon and two tablespoons more lemon juice

add 1/4 cup of sugar

pour over top of bread.
