2 packages yeast with 2 cups warm milk
2 eggs slightly beaten and 1/3 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup sugar 6 cups flour 1 cup raisins 1 tsp cinnamon
1 egg yolk and 2 tbs water to brush on rising buns
Dissolve milk and yeast, add margarine, eggs and sugar
mix in 3 cups of flour add more flour and raisins knead then cover to rise for
an hour. Punch down shape into balls and place on cookie sheet covered in parchment paper.
Rise, cut with knife (cross) rise til doubled about thirty minutes. brush with egg mixture/.
Bake in 375 oven 15-20 minutes. I typically place a second sheet under each sheet, to prevent excess browning. When cool, make cross with frosting. (Margarine, coffee and powdered sugar.
